My favourite brunch spots of 2018
It’s December now so I thought it would be the perfect time to do a quick round up of all my favourite places to eat brunch this year, the ones I’d go back to again and again and know I’ll get great food and coffee every time.
My picks for 2018 in no particular order are…
Measure
Mt Lawley
Located on busy Beaufort street, Measure is most well-known as a late-night dessert bar, but they put the same care and attention to detail in to their brunch menu making it a stand-out choice amongst the countless options in the Mt Lawley/Highgate area.

Bayswater
Tbsp. (presumably pronounced “tablespoon” but I’m yet to confirm that) is one of the best when it comes to asian inspired brunch menus. Plus anywhere that makes it acceptable to order a cheeseburger for breakfast is alright by me.

Gusto Food
South Perth
Gusto Food really knows how to pack flavour in to every dish, not to mention they make the absolute best crumpets in Perth (bold claim I know, but I stand by it)

The Little Pantry
Subiaco
The Little Pantry has been consistently putting out great food at every visit. I recommend the crispy fried potatoes with house ketchup as a side to accompany… well anything really.

Hylin
West Leederville
Hylin is one of the places I had almost forgotten about with all the newcomers on Perth’s brunch scene, but a recent visit reminded me why they’re still one of the best. The Open Brekky Burger is to die for.

Bib & Tucker
North Fremantle
If you like the idea of a beachside brunch then look no further than Bib & Tucker. The food is interesting and well executed, and if you can’t make it for brunch, the sunsets in the evening are pretty great too.

That’s it for my list. I know everyone has their own favourites so if you think you know a contender for next year, please mention it in the comments :)
